If reinstalling the game & uplay didn't work, there's only 1 other thing you haven't touched: try deleting the xml files in your Windows profile's Documents\My Games\Far Cry 4\ folder. 2. Then i got my preset to work for a min and then it stopped again. • So i found those new SweetFX files based on SweetFX 1.5.1 but with many new Shaders [ Not Boulotaur2024's or normal 1.5.1} • Now it works like a charm with even better results. • Go to my Far Cry 4 Preset and there is a link in the description with those files.

And yet there's constant stutter. I've tried in-game Vsync, and Nvidia control panel Vsync - both to no avail. I've capped my frames at 58, and at 60 - again to no avail. So I bought Far Cry 4, but every time I start it, it hangs and crashes right when the black FarCry4 splash screen pops up. System info is below, but it's a Windows 10 machine with more than enough power to run this game. I've done the following. 1. Ran everything as Admin 2. Ran as compatibility mode for every windows version 3. checked directx/net framework/etc, all there and current version 4. DX5YE.
